General Foreman needed for a manufacturing plant in Longview, TX.
Job Summary Work Performed 1.
General Supervision and Direction of Supervisors and or leadmen:
a.
Machine Shop b.
Finish and Rework c.
Paint Line d.
Light Assembly e.
Tappers f.
Binder Line g.
Winder Line h.
Heat Treat I.
Forge Shop on Second Shift 2.
Coordinate with production control to assure that the proper product mix is being released to these areas.
3.
Coordinate the orderly work flow of all products being manufactured in these areas.
4.
Assure that quality products are being produced both safely and efficiently.
5.
Assure that proper methods, tooling and equipment is being utilized.
6.
Evaluate equipment requirements in each department.
7.
Establish and enforce daily tool box meetings.
8.
Responsible for man loading of areas assigned 9.
Responsible to maintain 85 utilization of assigned areas 10.
Responsible for 85 or better efficiency 11.
Responsible for MRO budget compliance 12.
Assure that proper communication with Forge and maintenance departments is being utilized.
13.
Assure work orders are issued for Preventative Maintenance and repairs thru the Cribmaster system 14.
Assure TPM inspections are being conducted 16.
Act as Plant Manager in his/her absence.
