Senior Financial Analyst - New Product Development - Ingersoll Rand (Tyler, TX)

NPD - Financial owner and core team-member for all major NPD business cases - Works closely with plant finance/engineering/supply chain leaders to understand product costing assumptions - Works closely with product management to understand competitive landscape & NPD pricing / volume assumptions - Maintain clear financial reporting for assigned programs with careful attention to progress toward financial objectives - Support business case requirement for Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/ Long Range Plan (LRP) financial processes Engineering - Lead AOP / Forecasting process for C&E Engineering to deliver accurate and on-time inputs - Partner with Engineering leadership in development of LRP, AOP and monthly forecasts - Compile monthly operating review presentations and metrics for Engineering - Analyze budget/forecasts trends to implement corrective actions ensuring Engineering maintains forecast objectives - Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting reports /analysis with a goal of improving forecast accuracy Investments - Lead sector- Strong communication skills:
verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills - Ability to move from broad strategic topics to detailed accounting topics; deadline sensitive - Demonstrated successful team player and leader - Comfortable and effective when working with all organizational levels -' successful with influencing positive change - Strong financial excel modeling skills (Price/Volume/Mix impacts, IRR, NPV, and Payback) - Proven ability to translate financial information, coupled with knowledge of our customers, competitors, and markets, into insights, recommendations, and actions - Percentage of Travel:
