General Description The Director has responsibility for assuring the provision of effective, high:
quality patient care in the areas of orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech/language pathology and ergonomics.
Other responsibilities include:
the direction, planning and coordination of all operations of the Rehabilitation Services Department; marketing for the orthopedic service line, management of staff, budgetary and other resources; development of personnel; compliance with regulatory and professional standards; strategic planning; and fostering of interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships within the department and the organization.
Work ExperienceRequirements Experience with strategy development and execution with innovative program development.
Knowledge of healthcare service lines and program development.
Advanced analytical skills necessary in order to develop and implement new programs, systems, techniques and procedures; determine needs for capital equipment, personnel, expense and revenue budgets and prepare special and recurring reports for analyses.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with physician leaders, general medical staff and community physician, operational leaders, staff, peers and the community.
Understanding of affordable care act and its anticipated changes on care delivery models and anticipated consumer/patient impacts.
The incumbent must be able to adapt to frequently changing work priorities.
Salary:
Starting at 80,00 annually Education Requirements Three (3) to five (5) years of experience at an executive level Masters in Healthcare Administration preferred Strong clinical experience required Source:
