Using a consultative approach, you'll meet with local businesses key decision makers, determine their needs and develop advertising solutions using our ever-evolving suite of media and online solutions to fulfill those needs. You'll manage all aspects of your clients' accounts - from proposal to production to campaign activation and collections. You must be highly motivated; customer focused, and be an independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
o Successful media sales or equivalent experience.
o Working knowledge of Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook, preferred.
o Cable advertising experience preferred.
o Knowledge of the local media market and local contacts preferred.
o Creative and well organized
o High school degree required.
o Real estate experience a plus
Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education will be considered.
Essential Job Functions:
o Ability to communicate in person, telephone or written in a professional manner.
o Ability to sort and distribute materials
o Ability to use reasoning to problem-solve and troubleshoot
o Ability to use a calculator, PC, CRT, typewriter and other standard office machines
o Ability to work in a climate controlled, air processed environment
o Ability to give public presentations

The Account Executive - Homesource reports to the Homesource Sales Manager or equivalent level position. The purpose of this position is to develop a cable advertising client base from the real estate community and to sell local advertising availabilities to this base. Performs related work as required. There are no positions reporting to the Account Executive. The incumbent is responsible for cultivating and maintaining effective communications and relations within the real estate industry and for servicing existing and new accounts.
Principle Accountabilities:
o Sells local advertising on cable network to produce revenues for the system.
o Responsible for coordinating traffic orders and other documentation required for commercial insertion.
o Assists in coordinating the production of commercials to air on available channels.
o Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals and budgets
o Serves as a public relations representative, image builder in the local community.
o Be well networked in the local real estate and related industries.
o Prepares weekly and monthly sales activity reports and maintains an accurate client database.
o Performs related work as required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
