This position reports to a Supervisor. Paramedics are accountable for responding to all assigned calls in the most appropriate and efficient manner, providing the highest standards of patient care while providing a safe and hazard-free environment. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certification or Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Professional (PEPP) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Texas DSHS certification as EMT Paramedic
National Registry or Texas DSHS Licensed Paramedic (where required)
Must be at least 20 years of age
DESIRED QUALIFICATION:
Associates degree in Emergency Medical Technology
