Administrative Officer

The selectee will serve as an Administrative Officer in the Tyler Resident Office. Typical work assignments include:
Serving as the key financial advisor to the Resident Agent-in-Charge (RAIC) on USSS and Department of State's financial management practices; managing and tracking the expenditures of the office's approved funds allocation; exercising control of Interagency Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) charges, including proper application of cost center charges; managing, reviewing and coordinating procurement activities. Establishing administrative procedures and internal controls; adheres to established administrative and procedural guidelines when establishing, maintaining and tracking case files; and conducts inventory of evidence in accordance Service guidelines; and serving as the Top Secret Control Officer to ensure that all classified and confidential documents are handled in accordance with established procedures. Advising staff of new regulations, practices and regulations which impact the administrative and support functions; preparing and developing reports; and consulting with internal and external sources. You qualify for the GS-11 level (starting salary $62,236) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level performing duties such as:
managing and directing administrative office functions such as initiating personnel actions, procurement of office supplies and equipment; property, space, and records management; establishing priorities and evaluating work performance; and providing advice and recommendations to management. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time-in-Grade:
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.Qualifications Must Be Met:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
